Our Pre-Collision System can detect and help you avoid collisions with other vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists. It works by alerting the driver with audio and visual warnings and brake assistance. If the driver doesn’t manage to brake in time, the brakes automatically engage to prevent or mitigate a collision.
This system keeps you at a minimum pre-set distance from the vehicle in front. If this distance falls, the system reduces your speed and eventually the brakes will be applied and brake lights activated. Your vehicle is equipped with Road Sign Assist (RSA), this system will also recognize speed limits on your driving route and suggest any necessary adjustments.
Lane Departure Alert warns the driver if the vehicle is starting to deviate from its lane and will support nudging the vehicle back into its lane by applying brake force to inner wheels.
Trailer Sway Control automatically detects excessive movement of the trailer and selectively applies brake pressure for individual wheels and reduces engine torque to bring the trailer back under control. This ensures trailing loads are kept in line, providing a safer driving experience.
Downhill Assist Control automatically applies braking to individual wheels to maintain control and a safe rate of descent without any driver intervention when going downhill after the DAC switch is activated. This allows to make tricky and loose surface descents safe and easy.
This system allows occupants to notify emergency services by pushing a switch inside the vehicle. In the event of an accident or when the vehicle's airbags are deployed, the system will activate automatically.
